Women's tennis set for competitive spring slate

MEMPHIS, Tenn. – After finishing the 2018 spring season with its highest year-end team ranking since 2014, Memphis women's tennis seeks to capture that momentum in a competitive 2019 spring schedule.

The Tigers host eight home matches at the Racquet Club of Memphis and will face four teams who competed in last season's NCAA Tournament.

"This year's schedule is a challenging one. The girls will be challenged every weekend. This is what they signed up for when they became Memphis Tigers," head coach Hayden Perez said of the slate. "Entering the fall, 13 of our opponents were ranked inside the top 100 in the country.
