DENTON, Texas – Memphis women's tennis opened American Athletic Conference play with a 4-0 win over the USF Bulls Friday afternoon. The win moves the Tigers to 6-4 on the year.
Memphis got off to a fast start, claiming the doubles point after winning Courts 2 and 3. On Court 2, the pair of and picked up a 6-3 win, while and took a 6-2 win on Court 3.
The Tigers continued the momentum into singles play, taking Courts 4, 5 and 6 in quick succession.
