Women's tennis notches 4-3 victory at Tulane

NEW ORLEANS, La. – Memphis women's tennis erased a 3-1 match deficit to claim a 4-3 league win against Tulane Sunday afternoon at the City Park Tennis Center.

Despite dropping the doubles point, Memphis (2-4, 1-1) found singles wins on courts 1, 2, 5 and 6 for the victory.

"Today was a great match that came down to a tiebreak in the third set. Tulane was a very tough opponent and we were fortunate to leave here with a win," Head Coach Hayden Perez said. "The Tigers showed some great mental toughness down the stretch, and (Associate Head Coach) Ryan (Haymond) and I are very proud of them.
