MEMPHIS – The University of Memphis women's tennis team (2-16, 0-2 American) closed its 2016 regular season with a 4-1 loss at Tulane (7-13), Sunday. picked up Memphis' lone point with a comeback 0-6, 6-1, 6-4 win at five singles to win her second straight match.
Tulane took the early 2-0 lead with a 6-3 win at two doubles, combining that doubles point with the Tigers' forfeit at six singles with no healthy player there. Elena Muller made it 3-0 for the home team with a 6-2, 6-3 win at four singles before Paul got the Tigers' point on the board with her win at five.
