Women’s Soccer Wraps Up Weekend With 5-1 Win Over Cincinnati

MEMPHIS, Tenn. – The University of Memphis women's soccer team concluded a solid weekend at Mike Rose Soccer Complex with a 5-1 victory over Cincinnati Sunday. The Tigers ended up scoring 10 goals this weekend to improve to 9-3-1 overall and 3-1-0 in American Athletic Conference play.

Senior Forward Valerie Sanderson scored twice in the match, giving her 47 career goals. She is now tied for the most career goals scored in program history with Christabel Oduro (2010-13).

"First of all, ecstatic to get the win," said head coach Brooks Monaghan.
