MEMPHIS, Tenn. – In a high-intensity match in front of a season-high 1,056 people, the No. 18 University of Memphis women's soccer team fell by a score of 1-0 to Ole Miss Sunday evening at the Mike Rose Soccer Complex. The Rebels handed the Tigers their first loss of the season, dropping Memphis to 6-1 overall.
"Anytime we play Ole Miss, it's always a battle. Credit goes to them because I thought they won the game in the first half," said head coach . "We challenged our kids at halftime and I was proud of them for the second half.
