MEMPHIS, Tenn. – Prepping for its 26th season of competition this spring, Memphis women's soccer began its preseason training camp earlier this week.
The Tigers, who claimed the 2019 American Athletic Conference regular-season title, opened training with an annual conditioning test on Tuesday morning followed by an evening session featuring an 11v11 scrimmage.
After the fall season was postponed, the Tigers shifted its focus to spring 2021 with a start date of February 4. Head Coach Brooks Monaghan, who is entering his 21st season at the helm, said seeing his team's transition from a postponed fall season to a winter preseason training camp has been smooth.
