MEMPHIS, Tenn. – Following an outstanding season that saw the Tigers win their second American Athletic Conference Championship, earn their fourth consecutive trip to the NCAA Tournament, and make it to the second round of play, Memphis will end the 2021 season ranked No. 20 in the United Soccer Coaches Poll and No. 22 in the TopDrawerSoccer rankings.
Including the final rankings, the Tigers spent eight weeks in the top-25 with their highest ranking coming in the week of October 12 where they came in at No.14/15 in the USC and TDS rankings, respectively.
Memphis finished the season with an overall record of 14-5-2 where they won the AAC Championship with a 0-0 draw over South Florida (Memphis would advance 3-0 in penalty kicks).
