MEMPHIS, Tenn. – The University of Memphis women's soccer team recorded the highest grade point average in all of Division I during the 2015-16 academic year, the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) announced.
"I am extremely proud of our women's soccer team and head coach Brooks Monaghan and his staff. This is a result of the culture here in our athletic department that we have been creating since 2012 at the University of Memphis," Director of Athletics Tom Bowen said. "These student-athletes work each day to be the best, both in their athletic performance and in their academic pursuits.
