MEMPHIS, Tenn. – Memphis women's soccer has been picked to finish the 2021 season second in the American Athletic Conference, the league announced Tuesday. Senior Tanya Boychuk, junior Mya Jones, and sophomore Grace Stordy have all been named to the Preseason All-Conference Team.
The Tigers received three first-place votes and 59 points in the projected order of finish for second. South Florida, who claimed the 2020-21 AAC Tournament Championship, was picked as the conference favorite with six first-place votes and 62 points. SMU (44), Cincinnati (41) and Central Florida (40) round out the top-five favorites from coaches for this season.
