MEMPHIS, Tenn. – The University of Memphis women's soccer team came away victorious on Senior Day Sunday afternoon with a 3-2 win over UConn at the Billy J. Murphy Soccer Complex. The victory improves the Tigers to 9-5-1 overall and 3-2-1 in American Athletic Conference play.
The win Sunday afternoon marked head coach 's 100 conference win in his 18 seasons of leading the Memphis program.
"This match was a grind," said Monaghan. "There are no easy matches in this conference. It was a Sunday game, it was hot and we knew it was going to be a grind.
