MEMPHIS – The Memphis women's golf team is tied for third at +3 (291) at the Magnolia Invitational at Old Waverly Golf Club following one round, Sunday. Sophomore Abby Herrmann and junior Madison Thomas are in the top 15 in the individual standings through the opening day.
Herrmann carded a 70 (-2) and is tied for sixth through her first round, while Thomas carded an even par 72 to rank tied for ninth. Herrmann opened her day with a birdie one, but was +1 at the turn following bogeys on five and six.
