MEMPHIS – Junior and senior are both in the top 10 at the end of the first round at the FIU Pat Bradley Invitational through the opening round. As a team, Memphis capped day one tied for third overall with a 293, one stroke behind second place Western Kentucky and five strokes behind day one leaders FIU.
Goldenstein opened her tournament with a birdie on the first hole and tossed in three more on holes eight, 12 and 16. She bogeyed 2, 6 and 10 and finished day one with a 71 (-1), good for a tie for eighth.
