MEMPHIS, Tenn. –The University of Memphis women's golf team opens its 2018-19 season at the Payne Stewart Invitational at Twin Oaks Country Club in Springfield, Missouri, Monday. The defending champs at the event, Memphis is taking all seven golfers to the season-opening event, including defending individual medalist Michaela Fletcher.
The field will play 36 holes on Monday on the 6,001-yard, par-71 course at Twin Oaks, with an 8:30 am shotgun start. The event will wrap on Tuesday with 18 holes, also off an 8:30 am shotgun start. The 15 teams in this year's event are Arkansas State, Creighton, Drury, Little Rock, host Missouri State, Murray State, Oklahoma City, Omaha, Oral Roberts, Southern Illinois, UMKC, UTEP, Wichita State and William Woods.
