WOLCOTT, Colo. – The University of Memphis women's golf team sits ninth through day one of the Golfweek Conference Challenge, being played at the Red Sky Golf Club. Memphis carded an opening round 306 (+18) to close day one. Senior leads Memphis with first round 73 (+1), which included a hole-in-one on the 167-yard seventh hole. Whisenant eagled a hole in the Memphis Intercollegiate just a week ago and ended up in a sudden death playoff for the individual medalist honors.
