GREENVILLE, N.C. – The University of Memphis women's basketball team was unable to overcome a fourth-quarter surge by ECU Wednesday evening and ultimately fell by a score of 75-62 at Minges Coliseum in Greenville, N.C. Memphis had three players in double-figures, led by Brea Elmore's 21 points.
How It Happened
The contest was very back-and-forth for three quarters as there proved to be 13 lead changes in the game. Three of the five ties in the game came in the first quarter and Elmore helped ignite the Memphis offense with four of the team's 11 points.
