MEMPHIS, Tenn. - Head women's basketball coach Melissa McFerrin has announced the promotion of Alex Winchell to Director of Basketball Operations and the addition of Tyler Kopatich as the video coordinator.
Winchell has served as the programs video coordinator the previous two seasons and is a familiar face to the program as she played for McFerrin and the Tigers from 2008-2011. Kopatich is welcomed to Memphis from Wichita State where he spent the previous two seasons as a graduate assistant for the women's basketball team.
"I'm excited to not only promote Alex to director of operations, but welcome Tyler on to our staff," said McFerrin.
