BALTIMORE, Md. – University of Memphis quarterback Brady White has been named a Top 5 finalist for the Johnny Unitas Golden Arm Award the organization announced Friday afternoon.
The Golden Arm Award Selection Committee selected the remaining nominees based on player performance on-and-off the field. White was selected as a finalist alongside LSU's Joe Burrow, Oregon's Justin Herbert, Utah's Tyler Huntley and Oklahoma's Jalen Hurts.
The 2019 Johnny Unitas Golden Arm Award Presented by A.O. Smith will be presented on Wednesday, Dec. 11 in Baltimore, Maryland at the Four Seasons Hotel Baltimore.
White has completed 164 of 243 passes for 2,511 yards this season, throwing 23 touchdowns with just four interceptions.
