BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – University of Memphis junior competed in the men's high jump at the 2019 NCAA Indoor Track and Field Championships Saturday and placed sixth overall.
The Birmingham CrossPlex is the host site for the NCAA two-day event that began Friday.
Wesner finished sixth with a mark of 7-3.75 (2.23m). It was the ninth time in his indoor career that Wesner jumped over 7-0 (2.13m), including all five meets this season.
Wesner, a Princeton, Wis., native, won the 2019 American Athletic Conference indoor high jump title in late February. He also won the same crown at the 2017 conference indoor meet.
