NASHVILLE, Tenn. – University of Memphis' placed fourth in the men's high jump to lead the Tigers' effort in first-day action at the Vanderbilt Invitational Friday. Wesner was one of four top-10 performances for Memphis.
The two-day Vanderbilt Invitational continues Saturday with 23 events. The action starts at 10:30 a.m. (CT) with the women's pole vault. Only 13 events were held Friday.
Friday's meet was the Tigers' first competition since the Dec. 3 Vanderbilt Opener. Memphis was off 47 days from competition for fall semester final exams and the Christmas/New Year's holidays.
The Vanderbilt Invitational is a team non-scoring meet.
