CINCINNATI, Ohio – University of Memphis sophomore posted a team-high 13 digs, but it wasn't enough in Cincinnati's 3-0 win in American Athletic Conference action Friday night.
The Bearcats won the match by scores of 25-14, 25-17 and 25-18. With the setback, the Tigers fell to 13-8 overall and 2-7 in the league. Cincinnati is now 16-5 overall and 8-1 in the conference.
Friday's match was the 33double-figures digs match of Gehler's career and her 15of the season. Gehler has posted double-digit digs in 13 of the Tigers' last 14 matches. Gehler now has 685 career digs.
