MEMPHIS – A trio of Memphis football players will head to the Manning Passing Academy, held Thursday through Sunday at Nicholls State University in Thibodaux, Louisiana. Senior quarterback Riley Ferguson and senior wide receivers Phil Mayhue and Anthony Miller will join the staff at the Academy, now celebrating its 22nd anniversary.
"I'm just ready to go up there and learn," Ferguson said. I know there's going to be a lot of talented quarterbacks there from around the country and I'm going to go and learn from them."
Ferguson is preparing for his senior campaign after guiding the Memphis offense last year to the tune of 3,698 yards and a school-record 32 touchdowns.
