CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. – The University of Memphis track and field team posted four first-place finishes in Saturday action at Southeast Missouri's Joey Haines Invitational.
The Tigers only competed in 14 events (4 men/10 women) and also had limited participation in those events as a result of the inclement weather Saturday. In previewing the Joey Haines Invitational, head coach said that the weather would play a factor in which events the Tigers would enter and who would compete.
(men's 400m), (women's discus), (women's 100m) and (men's 800m) all won titles for the Tigers.
