Today is Memphis track and field's Senior Salute Sunday when the Tigers honor four seniors who graduated from the UofM Saturday and have wrapped up their athletics careers.
Our second senior honoree is Allie Hughes:

Career Highlights
- Graduated with a degree in nursing
- American Athletic Conference All-Academic Team member three years (2016-17, 2017-18, 2018-19)
- Tiger Academic 30 honoree (2019 fall)
- Dean's List student and Tiger 3.0 Club member
- Competed exclusively in the pole vault her entire career
- Posted 15 career top-eight performances
- Won two career pole vault titles at the 2018 Joey Haines Invitational (outdoor) and 2020 KMS Invitational (indoor)
- Also had three career pole vault runner-up finishes, the last coming at the 2019 Rhodes Invitational (outdoor)
- Competed in two American Athletic Conference Championships (2018 indoor and outdoor)
- Recorded her career-best pole vault effort at the 2018 Memphis Tigers Invitational (outdoor)
- Had her career-best indoor pole vault mark at the 2018 American Athletic Conference Championships
