BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – University of Memphis track and field is coming back to Memphis with eight medalists and 24 top-10 finishes at the 2022 American Indoor Track & Field Championships.
Cole Riddle was the first to earn a gold Friday afternoon with his first-place pole vault performance. He had a top clearance of 4.37m. Freshman Evan Puckett followed in a tie for third, clearing 5.02m. On the women's side, Alyssa Morello also grabbed the bronze with a 3.97m top clearance.
Other athletes bringing home conference titles include DeeNia McMiller and Iason Machairas.
