MEMPHIS, Tenn. – The University of Memphis track and field team kicks off its 2017-18 indoor season Saturday, Dec. 2 at the Vanderbilt Opener in Nashville, and head coach Kevin Robinson is pumped.
As with the start to every season, there is excitement. However, Robinson's enthusiasm for 2017-18 is overflowing, and why not. The Tigers return four All-Americans and over a dozen NCAA East Preliminaries qualifiers from last season's team.
The action begins Saturday at 10 a.m. (CT) at the Vanderbilt Fieldhouse, and the meet goes until the early evening.
