MEMPHIS, Tenn. – University of Memphis track and field garnered 23 top-five performances in their outdoor season debut Friday and Saturday at the Rhodes College Invitational.

The meet follows an almost three-week break for those who competed in the indoor American Athletic Conference Championship in February.
Several athletes took home the gold in their respective events including Adam Yakobi (400m hurdles), Tate Wyatt (3000m steeplechase), Brooke Mussche (800m), Erin Gilbert (mile), Chloe Figgins (5000m) and Lauren Metzger (10000m).
