AUBURN, Ala. – Four University of Memphis track and field athletes finished the weekend's War Eagle Invitational with a title, bringing the team's top-10 performance total for the meet to 27.
The meet finished Saturday evening at the Hutsell-Rosen Track after two full days of competition.
Tate Wyatt was the first Tiger to earn a title, crossing the line first in the men's 3000m steeplechase. His 9:01.33 finish marks a collegiate-best time for the junior. Also earning a gold and collegiate-best time Friday was Chloe Figgins in the women's 5000m invitational with a time of 16:57.
