CLEARWATER, Fla. – After an 11-1 run-rule victory over top-seeded East Carolina to start the AAC Championship, the Memphis Tigers felt the full wrath of the No. 9 team in the nation on Friday, as the Pirates returned the favor and ended Memphis' season with a 12-0 run-rule final. East Carolina starter Gavin Williams (W, 10-0) spun a complete game shutout, as the AAC Pitcher of the Year extended ECU's hopes at an AAC Championship. AAC Player of the Year Connor Norby did his part for the Pirates, as he went 2-3 with three RBIs and reached base four times.
