ORLANDO, Fla. – After a nearly seven-hour weather delay, the Memphis women's tennis team wrapped up its regular season with a 4-1 loss to No. 75 Tulsa Monday evening at the USTA National Campus.
The defeats halted a four-match win streak and moves the Tigers to 8-12 heading into the American Athletic Conference championship this week.
Tulsa (13-10) swept the first two doubles pairings to get the early point.
In singles, after the Golden Hurricane doubles their advantage with a win at No. 1, Emily Meyer earned a 7-5, 6-4 victory on court four to put Memphis on the board.
