TAMPA, Fla. – The Memphis women's tennis team continued its winning ways Saturday in the Sunshine State with a 4-1 victory at No. 59 South Florida.
The Tigers have now won seven of their last nine matches, including four-straight, to improve to 8-11 overall on the year and 4-0 in conference play.
Memphis fell behind in doubles despite Aran Teixido Garcia and Emily Meyer teaming up to win the first match, 6-4, on court one.
In singles action, the Tigers came roaring out of the gate with straight-set wins in the first three battles.
