CINCINNATI, Ohio – Five Memphis Tigers were in double figures, and despite being tested down the stretch the team never trailed in picking up their fifth-straight win and eighth in the last nine, 80-74, at Cincinnati Sunday afternoon in Cincinnati, Ohio.
The win snapped Memphis' seven-game losing streak in games played in Cincinnati. The Tigers' last win in The Queen City was on Dec. 19, 2007.
With the victory, Memphis (14-6, 10-3 AAC) secured its fourth-straight 10-win season in conference play. The Tigers have won at least 10 American Athletic Conference games in all three seasons under head coach Penny Hardaway.
