MEMPHIS, Tenn. – Scheduled for a Saturday doubleheader, the Memphis Tigers and Grambling State Tigers only got one game in before the skies opened up and canceled the back half of the twin bill. In the seven-inning matchup that the teams completed, Memphis tallied four home runs in an 11-3 runaway win. In the victory, all nine Memphis starters recorded at least one RBI while seven tallied at least one hit.
For the second consecutive game, Memphis (3-0) scored 11 runs in the win over Grambling State (0-2). Much like Friday night, Memphis trailed early, as the visitors struck in the opening inning.
