NEW ORLEANS – The University of Memphis women's golf team finished in a tie for seventh place out of 18 teams at the Tulane Classic presented by Chad Brownstein on Tuesday with a score of 927 (+63). No. 47-ranked Purdue won the tournament played at the English Turn & Country Club with a total of 897 (+33).
"This is a very tough event with regard to the weather conditions," head coach Jennifer Jordan said. "It is always extremely windy. We did not play our best for sure, but we have a lot of positives to build on going forward.
