BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – The University of Memphis women's golf team took fourth place at the Hoover Invitational at the Hoover Country Club in Birmingham, Ala. on Tuesday. The team shot a 54-hole, team total of 902 (+38). Southern Miss and South Alabama both tied for the win, but the tiebreak went to Southern Miss on fifth-player score.
"A disappointing last day for the girls for sure," head coach Jennifer Jordan said following the tournament. "They did their best, but it just wasn't in the cards for us this time. We are headed to the Lady Paladin Invitational, where we will regroup and come out strong"
