EVANSTON, Ill. – The Memphis Tigers moved to 2-0 on the season with a 4-2 win over the Northwestern Wildcats Friday in Evanston, Ill.
The Tigers started off by securing the doubles point, with the 30th-ranked team of David Stevenson/Jeremy Taylor winning 6-3 over Northwestern's top team and Memphis freshmen Harry Rock/Pablo Alemany Malea winning in the third position, 6-4.
Northwestern won the first two singles points to take a 2-1 lead, but the Tigers grabbed the next three to capture the match.
