Box Score 1 NEW ORLEANS, La. – Memphis women's tennis got its American Athletic Conference slate started with a bang over the weekend, sweeping a pair of matches against Houston and Tulane in New Orleans.
Memphis opened the weekend with a 5-2 victory over the Cougars on Saturday before earning a 4-1 win Sunday against the Green Wave at home.
The Tigers improved to 4-9 overall and 2-0 in the AAC, while extending their win streak to three matches.
Memphis won the doubles point in both matches with Aran Teixido Garcia and Emily Meyer teaming up to earn two wins.
