Memphis, Tenn. – Memphis softball picked up a double header sweep in day two of the Blues City Classic, defeating Bradley and ULM on Saturday afternoon at the Tiger Softball Complex.
Memphis (10-5) opened the day with a 10-3 win against the Braves, before completing a come-from-behind thriller against the Warhawks of ULM.
"I knew coming into today that we were probably facing the two best offensive teams in the tournament," head coach Natalie Poole said. "Both are really quality programs. To come away with the two wins is what we wanted, and we knew we were going to have to fight to get it.
