MEMPHIS, Tenn. - Memphis fowards and have swept the American Athletic Conference weekly honors, with Goodwin earning his third career AAC Player of the Week honor, while Lawson tied the AAC record for number of Rookie of the Week honors won in a season.
The pair helped lead Memphis to a 2-0 week, with wins over Temple (67-65) and USF (71-56). The first sweep of AAC awards came on December 2, 2013, when Goodwin won Player of the Week and Austin Nichols Rookie of the Week. A year later, the UConn pair of Ryan Boatright (Player of the Week) and Daniel Hamilton (Rookie of the Week) swept the honors on November 24.
