MEMPHIS, Tenn. - Memphis men's tennis wrapped up its final weekend at home with a split decision in matches against Wichita State and SMU.
The Tigers roared past the Shockers 4-1 on Friday before dropping their only home match of the season 4-2 against the Mustangs on Sunday. They move to 11-6 on the year and 4-1 in American Athletic Conference play.
Memphis fell behind against WSU (9-13) losing the doubles point, but bounced back with four-straight wins in singles action to take the match. All four matches were won in straight sets.
On senior day, the Tigers once against dropped the doubles point despite David Stevenson and Jeremy Taylor teaming up to win 6-4 on the top line.
