NATCHITOCHES, La. – After dropping game one of the day to Stephen F. Austin, the University of Memphis softball team bounced back with a commanding victory over Jackson State. The Tigers first fell to the Ladyjacks by a score of 3-1 before turning it around offensively to defeat Jackson State, 11-0. Memphis moves to 4-3 on the year with one game remaining in the Lady Demon Classic.
"We settled in a little quicker in the second game offensively," said head coach Natalie Poole. "We were able to steal bases and come through with some timely hits, which we needed.
