There aren’t many defensive linemen wearing No. 14. Latarius Brady knows that.
“But man, honestly, I’m like a big skilled guy,” he says. “I think I could play corner, I think I could play receiver, I think I could play quarterback. And I think me wearing a low number gives me a little swag. Makes me feel good.”
Brady laughs. Remember, he says, it hasn’t always been this way. Until last season, he was wearing No. 85, a more traditional number for a 280-pound defensive end. Then Brady asked Memphis football coach Justin Fuente about making a switch.
