CINCINNATI, Ohio – Junior Samantha Murphy tallied a brace and senior Stasia Mallin enjoyed a two-assist night as No. 8 Memphis women's soccer pushed its win streak to 11 matches after a 3-0 win at Cincinnati on Thursday evening.
Murphy's two-goal game marked her second brace of the season, while Mallin's helpers gave her 11 on the year and moved her into a tie for fourth all-time in program history with 26.
Despite registering its 11th shutout of the season, the Tigers (13-1, 5-0) were tested early. Cincinnati (4-6-2, 2-1) applied pressure from the first whistle, tallying the first four shots of the game.
