MEMPHIS, Tenn. – University of Memphis' and posted the team's top smallbore and air rifle scores, respectively, in helping lead the Tigers to a second-place finish in a home tri-match with Nebraska and Jacksonville State.
The match was Memphis' first at its new on-campus home, the Memphis Rifle Facility in South Hall. It also was the Tigers' first on-campus match in over 20 years.
The Tigers, ranked No. 11 in the Collegiate Rifle Coaches Association (CRCA) poll, finished second in the tri-match with an aggregate score of 4650 (2303-2347). The 4650 aggregate score was the team's best performance since Nov.
