JACKSONVILLE, Ala. – University of Memphis' , and all posted top-10 aggregate finishes to help lead the Tigers rifle squad to a second-place performance at the Gamecock Invitational Sunday. The results became official Tuesday.
Jacksonville State served as the invitational's host.
After its subpar score at the Nov. 12 Buckeye Open, the Tigers bounced back in a big way at Sunday's Gamecock Invitational. Memphis posted its second-highest aggregate score of the season with a 4667, second only to its 4669 score in the Oct. 9 win at Navy. The Tigers 2317 score in smallbore was a season high, and their 2350 air rifle score was the second-highest mark in that discipline this season.
