MEMPHIS, Tenn. – After a 45-day layoff from competition, the University of Memphis rifle squad returns to action Sunday, Jan. 15 when it faces Kentucky in a Great American Rifle Conference (GARC) match. Sunday's match is set for the Patricia C. Lamar National Guard Readiness Center in Oxford, Miss.
The match was originally scheduled with Memphis as the host, but the Tigers still are in the process of moving to their on-campus home, the Memphis Rifle Facility. The Tigers' new range is located in South Residence Hall, and will be ready to host Memphis' next home match later this month.
