TULSA, Okla. – In their penultimate game of the 2021 season, the Memphis Tiers (13-18, 6-13) rallied from a 2-1 set deficit for a five-set road win over the Tulsa Golden Hurricane (14-14, 9-10). After just six ties and three lead changes over the first three sets, the match featured 20 ties and seven lead changes over the final two sets.

Set 1
- Tulsa opened the match on an 8-4 run, while the Tigers answered with an 8-6 run of their own to lead 12-10
- The Tigers struck for six straight points around a Tulsa timeout to lead 18-11
- Memphis' lead got down to as few as four, but the Golden Hurricane didn't get any closer
Set 2
- Sparked by a pair of early kills by Autumn Hamilton, Memphis led 7-4
- Ahead 12-9, the Tigers saw Tulsa rattle off 10 of the next 11 points to lead 19-13 and take control of the set
Set 3
- The Golden Hurricane dominated the first half of the set, with an 8-2 opening run and as large as a 17-9 lead
- Memphis battled back with an extended 10-3 run to pull within one at 20-19
- The Tigers again pulled within a point at 22-21 and 23-22 before Tulsa got two straight kills to take the set
Set 4
- A 5-0 Memphis run sandwiched around a Tulsa timeout put the Tigers in front 12-6
- Tulsa ran off five straight points to level the set 15-15
- The set remained within two points in either direction until Gigi Crescenzo closed out the set for Memphis with back-to-back kills

- Memphis quickly fell behind 6-1 before the Tigers' own 6-1 run tied the set 7-7
- Down 11-10, the Tigers picked up the final five points of the match
