STARKVILLE, Miss. – The University of Memphis baseball team had its game at Dudy Noble Field against Mississippi State cancelled due to lightning in the area on Tuesday night.
Logan Kohler homered in the first inning to give Memphis a 1-0 lead. The Bulldogs scored a run of their own to tie the game in the bottom of the first. The Tigers responded by putting runners on the corners with back-to-back singles by Austin Baskin and Kohler to start the third just before the lightning arrived.
