MEMPHIS, Tenn. – The University of Memphis track and field teams are set to split squads this weekend and compete in Cape Girardeau, Mo., at the Redhawks Open as well as the Arkansas Qualifier in Fayetteville, Ark. on Friday, Feb. 17. Throwers will compete at the Redhawks Open and jumpers will head to Fayetteville.
This weekend will serve as the final tune-up before the American Athletic Conference (AAC) Championships scheduled for Feb. 24-25.
"The goal this weekend is to provide our technical field event athletes one last chance to sharpen up before the indoor championships next week," head coach Kevin Robinson said.
