Tigers place fourth in Ryman Hospitality Intercollegiate

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Led by Brad Bawden's 2-under 69, the University of Memphis men's golf team closed with a solid showing in Tuesday's final round of the Ryman Hospitality Intercollegiate.

Memphis fired a 4-over 288 at Richland Country Club and secured a fourth-place finish, the UofM's second top five showing of the spring. Rice, which led by nine strokes after the opening two rounds, held on to win the tournament with an 8-over 860. Host Lipscomb grabbed second place at 865 by firing the best team score, a 1-over 285.

Rice's Mitchell Meissner and Lipscomb's Dawson Armstrong shared top individual honors with 5-under 208s.
